Here is a link to a demo of a 60 W battery powered amp.  I am not sure if they are in production yet, but it sounds interesting.

I remember seeing another battery powered amp out there that was in the same power range, but it used tubes in both the pre-amp and power amp section, and would run for about 6 hours on a fully charged Li-Po battery.  Seems like it was around $3000.
