50-60 watts is quite a meaty amp, and you are talking car battery type power for that size. Do you really need that?

I haven't tried it yet , but for a slightly smaller amp, try the new Yamaha THR10 - 10W.  It is intended to be a battery powered modelling amp "to sound like a miked-up cabinet through a PA".  It has a lot of sounds out of the box, but could be endlessly tweaked.

I'm not sure of the watts, but a PigNose Hog 20 is great with two big
batteries in it and should be loud enough for duo gigs. Often discussed
here, if you search you will find a lot of discussions from the past on
good battery powered amps. Bill Hines
