I am interested in knowing what chromatic players, primarily, think about
factory gap
settings.

For your tastes do you think that the manufacturers tend to set the gap too
low, too
high or just right?

Do some manufacturers tend to set the gap more to your liking?

If you want to comment on diatonic gaps as well that's fine with me but if
you do then
would you please state that your comment is diatonic-specific.
