Re: [Harp-L] fire

Febreeze will get the smell out of any fabric upholstery that might be on your amps. Tolex or plastic surfaces could probably be scrubbed down with one of those citrus-based cleaning agents you see on the infomercials, but you can find them at Dollar General for a damn sight cheaper. As for interior components, I really don't know what to tell you...maybe open them up and put a stiff-powered fan on them and try to air them out for a couple of days.

Subject: [Harp-L] fire

I had a house fire Fri. night. Eveyone got out ok. I saved most of my music gear, but now it really smells like smoke. I can clean the harps but any suggestions on how to clean the amps? All of mics and a couple of amps were at the studio but my champ and princeton really smell bad. And my fender pass port PA stinks bad. Any ideas?
