Re: [Harp-L] Re: HOHNER Service Workshops with Steve Baker

I've used Dirk's Accordion Tuner (which works great for harmonicas, including tremolo and octave harps) on a Mac running Windows 7 in a VMWare Fusion virtual machine.

This is great Steve.  Wonderful to have all the info collected in one site and in printed form.

Regarding the tuner, are there any plans for a MAC version?  It seems to be PC only for now, but would probably run fine on a MAC in emulation.

The Dirk's project's tuners on which this is based seem to have a good reputation.  The functionality of the Harmonica tuner seems quite similar to their accordion tuner (or a simpler version)?  I am looking forward to having the ability to tune Tremolo & Octave dual reed functions and having the tuner recognize the beats.

Burke T.
