A number of people participating in this thread are using a long cc list. 
Several of the addresses are extraneous.  When replying to a post you
might want to look at that cc list and perhaps either reply only to the
list or excise extraneous addresses if you do cc.  What happens to the
posts once they reach a threshold of cc's is they are held.  This delays
your posts, creates duplicates when people fret that their posts aren't
appearing and it makes work for the listowner.  thanks, harp-l-listowner
