[Harp-L] Chuck Mcguire soloing problems

Hi Chuck,
I think if you work on two areas you will overcome your hurdles. One of the answers
were right in your email. You stated you have bad rhythm, you need to work on that. Trying to play music with bad rhythm is is like trying to dribble a basketball with low air. Maybe work with some drumming, doesn't have to be a whole kit, maybe a hand drum or a snare with brushes. Drum basics are a very good way to begin as a musician and if the rhythm aspect is bypassed it will often come back to haunt you.
Do you tap your foot when you play to keep time? If not, you should.
The second solution was also mentioned- practice. With practice (repetition) comes confidence. Armed with confidence and rhythm you will be able to climb any mountain.

Reach Hard and Reach Deep,
Reach
