With a little acclimatisation, as with any amp, it pretty much IS the holy 
grail, there are other great amps for harp but the RI is the best bang for the 
buck. Later models have Jensen Re-issues which are not great for harp, but these 
can be subbed for Eminence 102, or Weber have many options which others may want 
to reccomend.

$1100 is too much to pay for a used RI though, $700-$800 would seem more 
realistic.

I have just been offered a used '59 Fender Bassman, the recently re-issued
version:  single cabinet, 4x10 speakers, tweed finish.  How does this amp
stack up to the original Holy Grail?  The asking price is US 1100.
