Jason's choices to stop the exhausting touring, etc., were made for his own sake, and his own reasons, regardless of any speculation.
Year-round touring is a trip one doesn't always return from, so Jason is doing pretty darned good, and is currently having a blast playing in "Approved by Snakes," with John Lisi, Charlie Wooton & Darryl White.
