For all those in the Chicago area (or who will be there) a round table discussion on the life and legacy of the great Jimmy Reed along with a premiere of a documentary on Jimmy, as well as a discussion on copyright issues, intellectual property and race will be going on at Dominican University River Forest Illinois next Tuesday, Feb 15. Sounds like an interesting time. An under- appreciated harp player and no doubt one of the most influential bluesman on subsequent music. Not to mention Eddie Taylor. Below is the link.
