Hohner stopped nickel plating cover plates some years ago, the  
current production has stainless steel covers with the exception of  
the Meisterklasse which uses chrome plated brass. All Hohner Classic  
models (Marine Band, MB Deluxe, Crossover, MB 364 & 365, Special 20  
and Golden Melody) are now nickel and chrome free,
