[Harp-L] A New Kind of Harp Rack Needed

Damn, I hate ALL the racks out there. Wearing a harp rack makes you look like an idiot. Does it matter
if you look like an idiot while performing, even if the music is good? Yes.

I will pay good money, or go into business with an inventor who figure out a way to attach a mic'd and cupped harp holder
and stand to the top of an accoustic guitar in an attractive way, and make it for me.

I have an idea involving a very strong clip that attaches to the guitar top, and a small stand (gooseneck)? that attaches to that, so the thing is removable.

Whille trying to make the mic and harp come into the mouth straight forward and tilted down is just a resumption of the same old problem, I think a very deep embouchure
will be attainable by moving and adjusting the guitar (and thus the harp and stand) and possibly bowing your head so you are looking down when you play.
That would be ok with me if people can see my mouth when I sing. Time to play harp, just move and tilt neck of guitar a little bit, look down, and wail.

In this design you can get away from having a harp and mic in front of your face when you sing, and shed the dreaded Dylan comparison.

Another solution is cupped mic on a mic stand, and I have seen it work for Hamilton Loomis, a very exciting multi-instrumentalist and band leader out of Houston.
He has a very elaborate thing make out of old vaccuum clean tubes. The problem /wrinkle is that a stand will tip when you lean into it, so you need some
way to stand on the base, or attach it it to the floor.
