Re: [Harp-L] Singing Ability

Or as Junior Brown said in the song Joe the Singing Janitor "I can't carry a
tune in a bucket, but I carry that bucket with pride."
I am more in that way of thinking. I will stick with playing the harmonica and
dabble in guitar in our church music group and leave the singing to my wife and
the other ladies who sing. Our other guitar player sings sometimes, rough but
he sings pretty good and the congregation really enjoys our music.

I believe singing is all in the ear of the beholder.

Thank you and have a great day!!!

One of my favorite quotes is from Willie Nelson about Kris Kristofferson (sp?).
He said, paraphrasing, "Can't carry a tune in a bucket, but boy can he sing!"

....singing to me is as much about style than it is about pitch, which does
reflect attitude...
some people have great attitude.....and they tend to make great singers...takes
confidence.
Best way to build confidence...
is in the doing....not the over analyzing.
