You're probably right on both counts:

High notes: Just keep working on your embouchure. Try to breathe in and out
as opposed to blowing and sucking. It's one of those things that, once you
get right, you'll wonder why you ever had a problem.

Buzzing wind savers are a pretty common problem, but there are things you
