If the gentle break-in playing doesn't exceed the elastic limit of the metal, then no such change will occur.

If it does exceed the elastic limit, you are not gently breaking in the harp, you are damaging it.

Even if changes in reed alignment and curvature occurred, that would not improve the fatigue resistance of the metal.
