This used to happen to me all the time ,no matter what brand of harp
including Seydel 1847's especially when using the lip pucker embouchure.I am
now more aware of the limits of the 5 draw and have adjusted my playing
style including using more tongue blocking and I no longer have a big
problem with the 5 draw reed. In essence I concur completely with Mr. Yerxa.
