Re: [Harp-L] Toots on a 64

Hi,
The very first time I got to see him was back in 1978 in NYC at Hopper's Cafe with former members of Chuck Mangione's bands backing him and he was using a Super 64 back then. Seeing him do John Coltrane's "Giant Steps," with the first 5 choruses on chromatic harp, the next 5 playing guitar and the final 5 whistling just blew me away.

Great clip ... the first part of the clip pre-Toots was hilarious ...
felt like a "more cowbell" SNL skit ... thanks ...

Does Toots play diatonic at all?
