[Harp-L] Blues on the diatonic, chromatic and more at Trumpets Jazz Club




 For those of you who live in or near the metro NY area, Trumpets and the GSHC are hosting the third in a series of successful ongoing harmonica events. This" Harmonica Blues Blast" takes place on Thursday night at 8 p.m.at Trumpets Jazz Club, 6 Depot Square in Montclair, NJ. Visit www.trumpetsjazz.com for more info about the performers. What's great about this is who will be performing: none other than Rob Paparozzi on diatonic and chromatic with pianist Ed Alstrom ( plays organ at Yankee Stadium); Dennis Gruenling on diatonic with guitarist Dave Gross and Charlie Toker (Daddy T) on diatonic, chromatic and keyboard with the 17 North Band (accordion, bass guitar, guitar, drums, trombone). All three harmonica performers are members and strong supporters of the Garden State Harmonica Club, as is Enrico Granfei, owner of Trumpets. Also, here's a chance for you to get a sneak preview of our fabulous 38th GSHC Festival taking place on Nov.18-20 at the Holiday Inn, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. where all three acts will participate!  Thursday's Blues Blast will be a fun-filled cool blues night and an opportunity for you to see some of your favorite players. The vendor, "Harmonica 411" will be there for you to purchase harmonicas and players CD's will be for sale.
