I heard you doing some pretty amazing 5th position runs at the Garden State late night jam...very impressive! I'm finding greater interest in some of my students in the higher positions as well so it's keepin' me on my toes.

I am a big fan of 5th position. For a minor tune I will go to 5th before 3rd
99% of the time. I love the way it lays out on the harp. Nice runs up and
down. Being able to hit some of the OB's along with good bend control help a
lot in taking full advantage of 5th position.
I have yet to attack 12th much but I can see why it is appreciated by many.
On my ever growing "wanna do" list.
