[Harp-L] Complete recordings of Rhythm Willie now available

Hello All,
Briefly emerging from lurk mode to share something that may be of interest to some.

There's been a fair amount of discussion over the years of the great yet unfortunately and undeservedly obscure harmonica virtuoso Rhythm Willie on the harp-l.  His few recordings between 1939 and 1950 have (mostly) been only available scattered across various LPs, CDs and 78s; now, finally, all of his known recordings have been compiled together on a single CD called "The Greatest Harp Player You Never Heard", which is available at Bluebeat Music here:

(Or just go to http://www.bluebeatmusic.com and search "Rhythm Willie".)

Included on this CD as his extremely rare "Willie's Boogie" recorded with the Earl Bostic swing band, and "I've Got Rhythm", the "B" side of his last 78, which as far as I know has never been reissued anywhere.

I have no financial interest in this CD or Bluebeat Music, I'm just a big fan of Rhythm Willie and think he deserves to be better known.

Now back to the sidelines...

Scott
