Nick, some good points, but then again a lot of the comments you  drew had 
merit.  For instance, you also just wrote:  "and  seeing as I'm the last 
young guy playing this stuff".  
 
Well, that isn't even close to being true, there's still a  lot more 
people, including young people, playing traditional blues minus  the overblows 
than those who use that particular technique.  Here on  harp-l there are indeed 
many good overblowers, but the list  is populated by a lot hard core 
harmonica fanatics, who  in this instance are not a representative sample of the 
majority.  In any case, don't let it get you down, and don't take it too  
personally, you aren't the first to get skewered here for making a comment  
before thinking it through all the way.  Keep playing, keep  posting... just 
remember that harp-l can be a tough room, the culture  seems to be that if you 
boast about yourself you open the  door to critique.  Some of it won't be 
well reasoned, or even well  intended, but the majority is usually worth 
reading.
