Just tried Manji plates with Harpmaster comb/coverplates. Fits fine.
The Harpmaster covers can fit up against the front edge of the plastic
comb as per normal, just ahead of the coverplate slot on the Manji
plates.
Expect that the Manji plates will fit on a Promaster comb/coverplate
assembly as well as Bluesmaster, etc. This would give extra options
for those that like the plates but not the Manji comb, etc. Or those
who are looking for alternatives to the Special 20, etc.
Believe Brendan P. has alluded to this interchangeability in the past.
