RE: [Harp-L] Carmelita by Warren Zevon

There's a very cool version of this tune covered by Dwight Yoakum on Flaco Jimenez's album "Change Partners". You could get some great harmonica ideas from Flaco's accordion. Maybe something on a tremolo?

Phrygian?
The version I have, off the Warren Zevon album is in E-major.
My ideal arrangement for that one would be a country-tuned a harp in second
position.

(Maybe twelfth position on a b harp?)

Anyone ever play the Warren Zevon tune, "Carmelita" or have harp tab for it?
I'm thinking it's phrygian and should lay out well in 5th position.

Btw, there's a killer version of this tune by Willy Deville on YouTube.
