Sonny Boy (The second) (Rice Miller) obtained a bunch of Hohner Echo
Vampers when he was in the UK. during the 1960s.

The Echo Vamper is the same (except for the writing on the cover plate) as
the 12 hole Marine Band that was at that time being retailed in the USA,
and back then they were available in all 12 major keys.

That was, of course, in GB Pound, Shilling, and Pence days... Pre
decimalisation.

The 10 hole Echo Super Vamper retailed in London at 5 Shillings, (25 New
Pence) and the 12 hole Echo Vamper (With Bell Metal Reeds) was 7 Shillings
and 6 Pence, which today would be 37.5 New Pence.
