[Harp-L] knockoffs

Just to hear from Cruncher or 410/SS customers, as some other attempt to
copy my amp will be made, only with a no frills, ; low end cover, no
commitment to a finish that will last two lifetimes, and no proven track record.
My cost to build what I personally feel and all you customers feel are the
best buy for their investment, which is why I make less and offer them at
the lowest price for my overhead. Please tell me, would you all prefer
spending this slightly reasonable amount more to get all the annuities you get
with my amps; thick padded Tuki cover, mirror like finish, overkill on the
values of my NOS PIO capacitors, custom power and output transformers for
True 35 watts of power, extra package to actually have 3 amps, color
illustrated bound manual that gives you information about amps, mine and others, for
life, and much more... OR, would you want a cheaper version, where tweed
will fray in a few years, corners are cut just to get a lower price. Now
going into my 18th year I will continue doing it as always; respectfully
supply customers with the best possible product I can produce with all my
experience, continually pushing the envelope.

Please let me know. You all have stated how surprised you were when you
pulled off the cover to such a glass like finish, where nothing can penetrate
it other than major chemicals. Should I cut out the package and manual to
save $50, putting some cheap PDF file for a manual on what does what. How
about cheap finish or no finish to save $100 ( 4 coats of tint followed by 4
coat of hard shell clear, an extensive process ). I have a superb company
complete the build with my custom parts, all of them, which is the other
cost. To just copy everything from the normal and crystal channel to the "true
tone" line out, you can't buy customer service from 18 years and well over
5000 emails, voices, suggestions on what YOU want, and the highest quality
with a FAIR price is what I will continue to offer. Thank the many
potential testers who are offering their services. I don't think there is anything
wrong in giving back to those when sales occur enough so they can have a
really nice dinner with a loved one, off the top, not added on.

My prices will stay as long as possible where they are, as I continue to
build and Can build to other specs if you want to kick it by me. I am sure I
have tried any combination you can think of.
