[Harp-L] What I got

Elizabeth and Chris:
If I don't quite have down the correct protocol for using Harp-l correctly,
hang in there I'll get it right yet. I'm sure that putting you two in one
email would start rumours (See Elizabeth, I spelled it in British) First, I
switched from the individual emails to the batch emails. It left me far more
underwhelmed or far less overwhelmed. I can't figure out how Elizabeth was
able to respond to my via harp-l. I can't believe I was on the cutting edge
of computer technology in 1985, and here I'm falling off the curve, or is it
the cliff. But that too will change. Chris had made a couple of suggestions:
get Big Walter: "Can't stop Loving You" and "Big Cuts" Also bought "Blues
Masters Volume 4" I wounded right for me. What I heard of Chris's
suggestions are also good. I'd like to find some of Hal Leonard or the likes
of him with a couple of blues or jazz playalongs. He and maybe Ambersold
have the monopoly on the play-alongs. I dig some of the sides on Big Walter
an will see what he's doing and I'm not! I would realy like a source of
play-alongs of blues standards Any ideas will will appreciated based on
standards, out of the 30c and 40s.
Happy holiday digestion!!! One day I run you a sheet of all the blues sides
I have and you can critique. Amore, Manhattan Walter
