Don't management generally get the behaviour from staff that they deserve? 
In my experience - and as the proud owner of a CV that bears more than a 
passing resemblance to a mangy dog's hind leg, I've had quite a lot of it - 
if people are treated well and with respect that gets reciprocated.  If 
people are abused the abuse comes back. That's just an extension of market 
principles isn't it?
