RE: [Harp-L] NORTON BUFFALO

That is really a great answer!
Norton is one of the harp players who influenced me the most. I remember
many years ago, how long I could listen to his records, trying to get some
of his phrases. It seemed such a new, modern and incredibly fast playing.
RIP Norton, and many respectful thoughts to his family.

Hate to hear the sad news of Norton passing.
My greatest memory was sitting next to him in his workshop at the Dallas
SPAH and someone asked if he considered himself a Blues , Rock harmonica
player. His reply was " I'm just a musician who plays the harmonica" and we
should all strive to be just that.
