[Harp-L] why custom harps

My 2-cents...

A customization consisting of lowering the reeds, gapping, and tuning will
not (and should not) cost the o'l arm and a leg. You will have an instrument
that is far more responsive than one out of the box and be more uniform in
it's playability. The difference is very dramatic - it is upgrading from a
Toyota Yaris to an Avalon, but not to a Ferrari (any model). You won't
regret the modest cost of this kind of customization.

Try a harp worked on by a reputable customizer; you will be amazed!
