Re: [Harp-L] Jack Ely

We are saddened here in Ukraine too. I met Jack at Virginia Fest and he immediately drew my attention by his way of communication and personal qualities. When I shared with him an idea of creating Harmonica club back in my country he suggested to donate a few instruments for that purpose. I even have a SPAH letter with his signature. And Jack has always provided his support in terms of advice, etc.

What a loss, I was going to go to Buckeye after Virginia back in 2003 cause I heard that it's usually a big event but I couldn't make it. Since that time I had a plan to attend the Fest and meet Jack and talk...

Ukrainian harmonica community extends its condolences to Jack's family members. We'll miss you Jack!
