[Harp-L] Tony Glover

In the mid 1960's, I lived in a small town of 2,500 and played harmonica in a band in the Toronto area.  Initially I only played the chromatic and then, as music changed I had to learn the diatonic. Playing everything in 1st position, I had a hard time recreating the riffs that the Rolling Stones (Brian Jones) played in their blues based music.  Then I found Tony Glovers 1965 Folkways record with the booklet.  I mean who, in Streetsville, had ever heard of playing a c harp in the key of g,...really!  Tony saved my harmonica a**.  I still have the record and a turntable upon which to play it.  Thanks Tony.
