Re: [Harp-L] Vocals & Harp playing

Did anyone mention James Harman?

Outstanding vocals, great lyricist and arragner, can tell a story like no one else. His harp playing is straight up - lays it out, and there it is. Nothing spectacular... just right.

I know that in the mid-80's Rick Estrin mad a real effort to improve his vocals. We discussed it at a gig and I read it again in an interview at the time. He was always a hoot on stage and The guy cracks me up.

I am going to have to check out Dave Nevling...does he play the west
coast?
