I owned and used the Ibanez AD-9 reissue pedal for about a year, with a
variety of amps and mic.  I liked it a lot.  Then I went through my "No
Effect" phase and sold it.

While I had the AD-9 I compared it to several other pedals, including the
Maxxon, and I could find no reason to switch from the Ibanez.

Now that I'm back on the effects train I use a DeltaLab DD1 digital delay,
which I reviewed here:

 Since writing that review I've started using more repeats on the delay
pedal.  The middle knob is cranked up to about 11 o'clock.  It sounds very
good, and the price is a fraction of the AD-9.
