I agree that we are entitled to be proud of our creations.

I am listed as inventor on 5 patents. I have abandoned two unsuccessful applications.

The purpose of my previous posting was to point out that:

1. An application isn't published for 18 months. That explains why there is nothing yet on the internet.
2. A pending application doesn't necessarily result in useful patent protection. I know this from first-hand experience.
3. Even an issued patent can be successfully overturned. I also know this from first-hand experience.


My post was intended as a clarification, not a put-down. My attempt to be succinct may have sounded blunt. Mea Culpa.
