Yes, one common lick for intermediate blues harp is going up to draw 6,
bending the 9th down (a little or a lot, or just scooping it) and then
descending.
That note is the last one of the series that can be draw bent with
conventional methods, so it many times is the highest note in the phrase.
Next note would either be the overblow (minor third) or draw 7 (major
third).
All this is in cross harp, of course.
