[Harp-L] Adding material to plastic comb

I'm making some modifications to chromatic combs and I need to build up an
area with some kind of putty or other material that will harden and be
non-toxic.  In this case I'm raising an area at the back in which to mount
cover supports, but in the future, I might use something similar to change
the shape of the comb.

Any suggestions?
