[Harp-L] Re: Obama's Harmonica

First of all, nice job finding the reference in the video - I had to listen twice to hear it.

Here's the link to the video and the scoop on the harmonica...

The video is on John Legend's Site Under Video/Blog/Mobil Show 137

On 1/20 at about 2:00, I got a call from Fred Yonnet, who was with Stevie the day of the inaguration and he told me that Stevie had given his harmonica to the president and needed a new one to play that night. I drove around for aÂcouple hours, fought DC traffic, and finally delivered a brand new Hohner 280Âso that Stevie could play it 2 hours later at the big show. I was so excited to play a small part in keeping the show on track.

watching one of the videos on the whitehouse youtube channel,
you can see stevie holding onto his harmonica while waiting for
obama to move down the line of wellwishers. Âi don't recall seeing
him actually give it to him, but it did look that that was his intent.

cool.
