Not the tape you are talking about Jim, but there is a studio recording of Big Joe with Otis Spann, T-Bone Walker,and George Smith circa late 60s right before Spann's Âpassing. It is Âcalled Super Black Blues . Great ensemble playing. If my memory serves me right Big Joe also did a session with a harp player Âand Roland Kirk ( could have been Kirk Âdoubling on the harp ) in the mid 70's.
