Why is scary fast playing so desirable?  It shows only that you've  spent 
time learning to scaryfastplay.
 
Impressive? As frcn posted, perhaps more so to a drunk crowd.  OHYEAHHHHHH
 
Personally, I'm more impressed on a deeper level with someone's  musicianship.
