[Harp-L] Winslow in early evening concert this Saturday

This Saturday, on your way out to dinner or the movies, catch an early show that will help you mellow out from all that holiday frenzy in a warm, inviting performance space. You'll hear music that is by turns sensuous, lyrical, buoyant, and exciting, from the harmonica/violin duo of Winslow Yerxa and Tuula Tossavainen, with Colin Cotter on guitar, performing their own unique blend of jazz, Celtic, and Finnish music.

Come early or you'll miss us - we're opening the show.

Then stick around and hear some amazing young talent. Marika Cotter is a 22-year old singer, fiddler, and guitarist with a bright future and a scorching set of vocal pipes that range from Billie Holiday to Janis Joplin, though she also sings blues-inflected Scottish ballads. She'll be accompanied by Hugo Allen on piano and Colin Cotter on guitar.

The headliner is A Thousand Years At Sea, featuring Colin Cotter and Ethan Lewis. This trio (appearing here as a duo) underscore passionate yet thoughtful songwriting with luminous acoustic guitar and driving fiddle and will leave you wanting more.
