Re: [Harp-L] nobody knows you when you're down and out

Harvey I used to play this back in the day when The Deadliners were active. I don't remember it not for note, but I do remember this. I used three harmonicas. One straight, one cross, I can't remember what I did with the third one, but I switched back and forth between straight harp and cross in the leads and the third harmonica, The Harp of Mystery. The fills were the same way, one fill would be straight harp blow bend up high, next cross harp down low, or cross up high, etc.
It was complicated. No wonder I can't remember what I did.
If I were playing this song today, I would play a chord harp for rhythm and chromatic on the solos. It can be played on diatonics, of course, but it screams chromatic to me. That's why I picked up chromatic in the first place, was to have another option on songs like this.

I have been trying to figure out the song "Nobody knows you when you are down and out". Any one have a clue how to play it on a Diatonic or any tuning of a 10 hole?
