one thing to keep in mind is that this is just another part of what you
  need
to learn if you want to play harp. the blows and draws and toungue blocks
and all that are just a small part of it. you also need to learn about
  music,
and about accompaniment, and playing with a band. and yes, you also
need to learn how to work with other musicians, even the rude and obnoxious
ones, and how to not let them psych you out.

so when you have a bad night (this won't be the last time), let it go.
  if you have
a recording, listen critically and figure out if you were doing anything
  wrong
(stepping on another player, wrong key, too loud, too soft, timing off,
  etc). if
you did, make a note of that and work on improving it for next time. if
  not,
then think about the other players. where they having a bad night, or
  are they
always like this? maybe you don't want to play with them again, and can
  arrange
for that to happen. or maybe you might want to get to know them better and
figure out how you can make it work.

you're in a good situation in that the jam "owners" like you and want you to
play. talk to them about a reasonable accomodation.

but overall, the point is: don't let this get you down. learn what you
  can from it
and move on. it'll make you a better musician.
