Re: [Harp-L] Which Hole Number?

Having played at different jams with known and unknown musicians, I've learned that it is important to feel the music because just calling for a song to be played in a certain key is not going to be enough. Everyone on stage takes the chance to improvise and you'll know when to get in that stream.

Fully agree with Smo-J on the muscle memory part, this and many threads on this topic in the past, but at the risk of questionable popularity- there was an extended thread on the use of a Bendometer (www.harmopoint.com) and a software that visualizes your playing on the screen.

Just like sex, when you start feeling it your eyes are shut, [and lights out]. Can't say anything about how you can feel when you see that in front of you!! (IMHO)
