Went to Brian's harp gear site and checked out the tone section--figured I
knew it all but of course I didn't. Never saw that puffed out throat
technique before. Practiced hard last night, felt like some kind of tropical
lizard mating dance, but it helped the tone quite a bit. Brian put a lot of
work into the site and did a nice job.
Of course I should have been practicing for the next gig, instead I was
doing my best Skatellites impersonation (minor key harps are so cool) and
trying to figure out what the heck the bass does in One Drop. Oh well, it
was fun.
