Re: [Harp-L] J Geils Band w/ harmonica interest

Brother WVa Bob,

So what DO you find interesting? (No innuendo, please. Either it's worth the purchase price or it's not!) Here's the Amazon.com reference. http://www.amazon.com/Monkey-Island-J-Geils-Band/dp/B000002J6B/ref=pd_bbs_10?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1224441154&sr=8-10

We can all stand to hear MORE J. Geils!

Be Blues...And Jazz,

Suave Blues Man

Moving on from "Whammer Jammer" I wonder what the J Geils Band recorded that is worthwile from the harp perspective?-- I don't own the record anymore, but I think "Monkey Island" [that's the one with "I'm not Rough" on it] has some interesting use of harp in a rock context...I actually don't find "I'm Not Rough" as interesting as some of the other stuff on the record...
