For the record, what Jimi won was "Best Solo Blues Performer In 
Austin Texas", which had no requirement to be a harmonica player.  
Also, for the record, this is the first year there has been a 
representative of the Austin Blues Society in the IBC.  Last year 
Jimi traveled to San Antonio to compete in their challenge, where he 
won, again, as a solo blues performer, not solely as a harmonica 
player.  

Jimi is the whole package: singer, guitarist, harmonica player, song 
writer, performer.  Not to mention being an all-around nice guy and 
advocate for live music everywhere.  He is well deserving of this 
recognition.
