RE: [Harp-L] Austin, Oct 17?

While this suggestion hardly captures the essence of the Austin musical
experience..., you might come hear Brad Trainham, himself armed only with
six or so harps and an acoustic 12-string guitar, sing and play for some two
hours at Drogos Café (200 San Jacinto Blvd) eight to ten PM.
Old Brad will doubtless be... "rendering" up some of his finest... Such as
"She Musta Had the Operat-ion", "Singapore", "Something in the Water", "Big
Highway"... As well as some of those "ecclectic" covers his friends are
always accusing him of "pulling out"...
(Peter Blegvad isn't ecclectic! He's universally off the map! That's
different!!)
And afterward, as the night will still be quite young, you might go see the
real harp players if they'll 'fess up to where they're playing on Friday.
Brad Trainham
