That brings up an interesting story for me too. We recently played a benefit
as the 2nd out of I guess a dozen groups. We went on as an "acoustic" set in
between the electric groups.

Smith said to me after our set (well before his but after Dane Russel) "Why
didn't you guys play much blues?" since it was a blues society sponsored
fund raiser anyway.

I believe I answered "won't you be listening to blues all day?".

He said "Well you didn't play much harmonica friendly material."

And to characterize again "Good, then the kids can see how far  in all the
directions you can stretch a good blues group."

And I added, plus Daine just played, If we played blues, I'd sound a lot
like him... just through the bullet and the PA and not through his line 6
processor and sennheiser hip pack.

I figure the whole point of displaying music to a school is to show what the
possibilities are. Ok, I have to go meet mr. hines for lunch.
