Re: [Harp-L] Wonderful Harp (was Dangerous harp) is Wonderful World of Jim Prushankin

Interesting comment about Dylan. Song writers like Dylan, Neil Young, and a few others that I can think of, use a minimalist style that is very appropriate to what they do. It is by no means poor playng.

I can play jazz, blues, country etc. But when asked to play like Dylan, I miss the mark.

I started the "dangerous harp" thread and I didn't relise that it would be blown out of context as much as it did. I like ChickeZe and I hope he does well in the A.I. competition. He had the balls to whip out a harp on national T.V. so more power to him. After all ,he could'nt do any worse than Dylan. Commenting on Chickeze, I included a line by my friend Big Nancy that I think is funny ;
"A harmonica in the wrong hands is a dangerous instrument" . This was done tounge in cheek and without malice. i agree with Warren Bee's comments and I also wish everyone in the world owned a harmonica because
It would become a better place although I don't think the sax would have the same effect :). Getting back to making thw world a better place, does anyone remember Jim Prushankin ?
