[Harp-L] Digitech Jamman pedal whats the verdict?

Recently,I 'bit the bullet' and made a decision to buy the Digitech Jamman Loop/phrase pedal. That was after almost buying second hand an Akai Headrush E1[actually,I had a major 'hassle' with it's seller over the ebay and so we both bowed out of the deal, thank heavens].
After that frustration, I purchased a Digitech Jamman Loop Pedal?
At Harmony Central etc,I found the reviews really varied on both the Boss Loop Pedals and the Jamman.Quite frankly I preferred the Akai' switches and apparent simplicity of use.The Digitech Jamman seemed to me however to be more useful and operable [ but I've been wrong buying gear before].
Somewhere,I saw that the updated Akai E2 had some fairly bad press re:shonky soldering and fragile internal construction.
That pretty well freaked me away from it, although,I was advised that the Headrush E1 is simply useful 'on the fly' and of cause Son Of Dave,Dave Ferguson and Richard Hunter apparently use them in their setups.
Hmmmm...so,I'm hoping 'this sucker' will be easy enough to use and will add some new creative dynamics to my solo gigs.
This pedal apparently stores heaps of preconcieved loops plus bass or drum phrase samples etc on card thus the data can be easily entered to laptop.
The clincher I guess was it came brand new at a reasonable price from ProGuitar.com [on the ebay].
Does anyone out in HarpL -land own one of these Digitech 'Jamman' pedals and is useing it in their live shows?
I wonder what is the verdict on these units? Any answers or experienced advice will be gratefully recieved and most graciously replied.Thankyou.BJ.
